The Color Run – The Happiest 5k on the Planet

At the beginning of the year I shared a list with all of you of 10 things I wanted to do this year. Doing a color run was one of them. Which means of course I signed up for the first one of the year! The Color Run markets the event as “the happiest 5k on the planet.” And I have to say I completely agree with it!

.

From the time we stepped foot on the ground at the Seattle Center we were encouraged to dance, and smile and have a great time.  And we did! It was so much to play and skip and dance with a thousand other people.

Before the Race. Here we are all clean in our crisp white shirts:

And then 5k (aka 3.2 miles) later. After the race:

We had to make a stop to the EMP because it makes the PERFECT back drop. Don’t you agree?

This is my best friend from High School and we are all about taking silly pictures.

If you have a color run that comes runs through your city or a nearby city, I HIGHLY suggest you grab your bestie(s) and make a day of it. (Side note: You definitely do not have to run the race, as it isn’t timed or anything.)

.

Grab your bestie, your sneakers, head outside and get active!
